July 3rd 2010
We didn't have a huge selection of
fire works. I was not able to take pics of the ones
in the sky. But we had a great fourth.
We went to the in-laws for steak, watermelon, chips, potatoes.
We had the kids go out for fireworks.
David lit a screamer. Dean decided
that he was not happy about how loud it
was. He ran up the drive way and just
stared at the rest of the fireworks.
I was inside and the next thing I heard was
"mama' with a whinny voice. He was at the back
door wanting to go inside.
It was really cute. The older kids stayed out and did the fire works with
David and his sister. We left pretty late.
Carver was very hungry and we spent most of the time inside
trying to make him comfortable.
Which was fine with me. I like to look at fireworks
but I could care less about the noise they make.
July 4Th 2010
It did not end with July 3rd.
We did not really have plans for the fourth.
We got invited by the in laws and then our friends in fall city invited us
over for another BBQ.
We had hamburgers, hot dogs, watermelon, chips/guacamole dip,
Virgil's root beer and brownies. YUMMY!
We lit more works! The Neighbors lit $500 dollars worth so we got a great show!
The men talked guns. The women cooked and visited.
Dean decided to stay in again which was totally fine with me.
Our friend's little boy decided to stay in most of the time as well.
We had a great window view with little loudness.
The kids played in the kids room and entertained each other well.
Both nights we were out until 11:30pm.
It took us about 3 nights to get back on a schedule. But it was so worth the
works and GREAT food. We felt so blessed to have
family and friends to celebrate with last minute.
We probably would have stayed home and watched some
LAME fireworks on TV or something.
