Elijah has been on the x-box for about 8 days now. EAT, DRINK AND I think He almost Pooped LEGO'S out. let's see...LEGO batman, LEGO star wars, LEGO Harry Potter, LEGO Indiana Jones (i think), LEGO LEGO LEGO of MY LEGO'S. He has even gotten so good at it that he has completed more levels than I could ever complete. he has learned how to be quiet about it and not wake his brother, who he shares a room with. He shuts Sarina's door on the way down in the morning. He gets ready for church now on days he wants to play while waiting for everyone else. He knows how to manage the x-box, projector, media center and pretty much all of that stuff. He even got grounded for it for a day in between the two 4 day playing periods. Mainly for not listening when I asked him to get off to shower, eat, and pretty much stay alive. he at one point was looking like he was stoned. He had bags under his eyes. We set up a plan now for school. he is only aloud to play if homework is done, snack is over with and he only gets 1 hour. (if that) All other chores have to be done, and room clean too! We usually let him have time on it for 1 hr each day during rest time so Sarina and Dean can take a nap. It keeps him quiet. We let him play as long as he wanted until it became a problem. Summer is over and he has not played like this all summer. So I saw no harm in letting him enjoy the last few weeks playing. The last 8 days however have been obsessive.
